Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

The symbolism of the lion and the lamb holds special significance for Ethan, particularly in current times filled with news of wars, violence, and diseases.  In this imagery, the lion, representing God’s strength and power, peacefully shares existence with the gentle lamb of God, creating a vision of harmony.  The imaginary waterfall flowing into the river is set against the lush greenery and super-trees of Gardens By The Bay (characteristic of Singapore city - where Ethan lives in).  It is both Ethan’s prayer and vision of hope for Singapore - a reassuring reminder that amidst the chaos and challenges, one can be certain of God’s triumphant presence and shalom peace dwelling within this land.
