1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NIV)
Do you not know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
Winning a race requires purpose, endurance and discipline. Like athletes’ training that helps to build vigour and stamina. The Word of God trains, equips and strengthen our spiritual muscles. We are called to participate to run with God in excellence, diligence and determination.
A running Lion of Judah represents a powerful and purposeful movement of God. When God moves, we move with Him. We follow His leading. Singapore is the Antioch of Asia and the Macedonia calling upon our nation is moving in greater force. Many have been chosen, trained, tested by fire, their hearts moulded and are ready to run with God no matter where they are sent.

Transitioning means moving from one place to another. As vessels of God, we're chosen to carry out His purpose through different seasons including the most trying ones. This means leaving behind our old selves to embrace who we can be.

The Lion of Judah leads His bride, depicted as the lioness, towards portals of His blessings. These portals serve as gateways to our inheritance, encompassing sources of power and authority, divine wisdom, abundant provision, family, and honour.

As Singapore transitions into a new era, I proclaim that the Antioch of Asia will fulfil its role as a vessel of God’s Kingdom. May our leaders inherit God’s wisdom to guide our nation towards new opportunities for growth and prosperity. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
