Artist : Chan Ee Sim
Ee Sim is a hobbyist painter who believes that the creative process of painting and drawing reveals aspects of the soul that cannot be communicated in other forms. For her, creating art is less about the end result and more about the journey of putting colour down on a surface, with the end result being more of a surprise than a reached goal. She relishes the experience of looking beyond the technique to the message underlying each piece.
She now works primarily in oil paints, but has also created works in acrylic, pastels, and mixed media.

Beloved in Singapore, the sweet fragrance of Christ can be discerned not so much in what we do, but how we do it - with gentleness, sincerity of heart and a desire to help others. May a life hidden in Christ be made ‘visible’ even when words are not spoken and deeds are not seen.
